Taiwan updates toxic chemicals substance list
16-Feb-2012
Several changes have been made to Taiwan's toxic chemical substances list (TCSL), according to an order published by the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration on 2 February. The revision includes changes in maximum usage, prohibited and restricted usage for asbestos.
CAS numbers have been added for some chemicals, including chromated copper arsenate, tri-n-propylisobutyltin, tri-n-propyl-n-butyltin, triphenylbenzyltin, triphenylmethyltin, and triphenyl-p-tolyltin.
The changes are effective immediately.
