| Details | This is a unique opportunity for those looking for a significant challenge to establish and revamp an existing regulatory division but utilise their commercial experience (or gain it) The unique aspect is the significant commercial focus this position will have. Our client is an established consultancy with within the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Agrochemical sector offering testing and regulatory services. THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting into the Vice President and President of the organisation, you have a unique challenge to re-establish the Regulatory division and grow the division further The Head Global Regulatory Affairs is to provide ownership, scientific leadership and technical expertise across the whole Regulatory Affairs organisation leading these operations within the business across the European locations and by doing so support the continued growth of the organisation globally These objectives include supporting company strategies and ensuring compliance of all laboratory data, documentation and procedures, including adherence to all other applicable standards and guidelines, satisfying the requirements of GLP and GMP as defined by law. You will be expected to lead and govern with the department having it’s own profit and loss and acting as a standalone service division. Where necessary, it will still be offered as a full package. Your requirement is to provide an even balance of leadership from a Regulatory perspective but also from a Commercial and Business perspective. There will be a need to network and utilise an existing network Additional responsibilities include: Establishing SOPs and part taking within the Operations Leadership team Working to and establishing Key performance Indicators Provide supervision and guidance to the regulatory division QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have a BSC in Science (Environmental, Agricultural, biology, chemistry or related areas). Strong commercial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit Regulatory background ideally from an Agrochemical background is a distinct bonus. Some experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage. Storng operational and leadership experience.
