Restricted Substance Manager (Global)

Primary Responsibilities

Your role will be to facilitate the development of new restricted substances management solutions (REACh)

There will with particular emphasis on REACH regulation for emerging markets and be required to lead the development of new solutions for alternative testing.

There will be a requirement to liaise closely with Dossier management teams as well as various other departments.

Other duties will include monitoring of REACh and restrictive substances network and ensure the company has presence with associations.

This position will require significant travel to China, Turkey, France, Germany and possibly other location

The role will have more emphasis on support services whilst maintaining some element of testing services.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will be required to have a strong Chemical background which will be reflected with a degree at Bachelors and or Masters and or Phd Level.

Understanding of chemicals used in the supply chain. Ability to address supply chain issues.

Strong experience of international chemical business management or R&D

Experience in REACH solutions (bonus)

Experience working with emerging markets or at least an understanding of emerging markets.

Those from a strong academic background or experience working with retail and/or consumer products will be considered.
